During peak times, trains operate every 15 minutes. During all other times, trains run every 30 minutes. The usual duration of the rail service from the airport to central London is about 40 minutes.

Drivers approaching from the north can take the M11, exiting at Junction 8. The M25 should be taken by those approaching from the south, exiting the motorway at Junction 27 and accessing the M11 north until Junction 8. Drivers approaching from the east should take either the A120 or the A12 to Parsonage Road. Take the A120 when coming from the west and keep driving until reaching the second exit, which is the M11 entry roundabout's exit.
