Rail:

serving London Stansted Airport, the Stansted Express provides a rail connection between the air hub's railway station, which is conveniently positioned beneath the terminal building, and the busy London Liverpool Street Station. During peak times, trains operate every 15 minutes. During all other times, trains run every 30 minutes. The usual duration of the rail service from the airport to central London is about 40 minutes.

Bus:

a network of public buses and shuttle coaches provide transportation between Stansted Airport and the city. Terravision shuttle operates hourly trips to London Victoria Coach Station from the airport. Other available ways of public transport include services to North London operated by Airbus and Arriva, while Jetlink covers transportation to local towns. A large number of cities and towns throughout the UK can be reached by National Express coaches.

Taxi:

at the Checkercars reservation counter in International Arrivals passengers can book a taxi or they can use one of the available free telephones, following which flight passengers can await collection outside the terminal. Grosvenor Carriages and Royal Silver Service operate limousine services for those persons preferring to travel in style. Limousine reservations can be made in advance or on arrival.

Car:

positioned just off the M11, approximately 30 miles northeast of the city centre, Stansted Airport is simple to access from central London as well as all places on the compass.

Drivers approaching from the north can take the M11, exiting at Junction 8. The M25 should be taken by those approaching from the south, exiting the motorway at Junction 27 and accessing the M11 north until Junction 8. Drivers approaching from the east should take either the A120 or the A12 to Parsonage Road. Take the A120 when coming from the west and keep driving until reaching the second exit, which is the M11 entry roundabout's exit.
